Aside from learning to speak Spanish, my son has learned how to live in a multicultural world and appreciate other cultures for their uniqueness. SSH has made learning fun for him! He loves to talk about his learning experience at school, from the experiments the teachers do at the beginning of class to the art and puzzles he enjoys during the day. Coming out of pre-K and knowing sight words both in English and Spanish gives him quite the leg up heading into Kindergarten.
Southlake 91黑料 has been, in a nutshell, amazing. I've watched the kids grow and learn with some of the most attentive teachers anywhere. The teachers are truly boundless in their energy and enthusiasm to serve. And to top it all off, the kids all understand and speak Spanish now...what a plus! I've only seen love and attention towards all the kids and my feeling is they genuinely care about the children entrusted to them. If anyone is contemplating Southlake 91黑料 I'd say don't hesitate. Valeria brings a rich blend of Hispanic heritage and a deep passion for education to her role as Director. Born in Venezuela, with family roots in Spain and six years of life in Argentina, she offers a diverse cultural perspective that enriches the school community. Though she holds a degree in Civil Engineering, Valeria comes from a family of educators and found her true calling in education after moving to the U.S. She now brings over a decade of experience to the field.
As Director, Valeria is dedicated to creating a warm and safe environment where children and families feel supported. Her vibrant energy shines through each day as she fosters learning that is both fun and hands-on, tailored to each child's individual needs. She loves helping children grow academically and emotionally while immersing them in the Spanish language and the rich culture of her roots. Seeing them gain confidence is her greatest joy.
Valeria also believes a strong teaching team is essential to student success. She prioritizes a happy, supportive workplace where teachers feel empowered and energized. Her goal is to make 91黑料 feel like a second home - for staff, students, and families alike.

Periquito Azul is the feathered, friendly, and beloved mascot of 91黑料. The beautiful blue hyacinth macaw brings both fun and an extra touch of South America to our school. Periquito Azul helps us celebrate seasons, events, and learning throughout the school year!
